Bon Jovi is coming to the Xcel Energy Center for two nights on March 18th and 19th and has a special opportunity for local residents to make their claim to fame. Bon Jovi is asking local Minnesotans to go out and film why you love your town.
The contest asks folks to "get creative and film short videos that show why they love their hometown - the people, places, icons and scenery that make it a special place." Online voters and a panel of judges will select the best footage, and it will air when the band performs "I Love This Town" in concert. Besides your claim to fame, there will be prizes of signed CDS and special Bon Jovi tickets that will let you see the show from the stage.
